When assembling, repairing and using the crane slewing bearing, it is essential to maintenance the rotating structure. So we should learn from the mistakes in the debugging of the rotating structure, and master the correct operation steps, avoid the phenomenon of mis-adjustment. The problems that should be paid attention to and following for reference.
- Before maintenance the rotating structure, it is necessary to find the eccentric direction of the gear tooth with the highest runout of the large gear and the eccentric center of the pinion.
- It is necessary to debug the rotating structure when the gear and pinion PCD matching after highest runout recovery, that is mean the reducer can be rotated, and the purpose is to ensure the pinion and the slewing bearing are indispensable in the debugging process of the rotating structure. and it is absolutely impossible for the large gears to be stucked.
- During debugging, in most cases, it is only necessary to rotate the reducer to move a bolt hole position. In rare cases, it is necessary to rotate the two bolt holes. This is basically the same as actual situation of our factory’s debugging rotary structure. Therefore while we do like that and crane does not significantly recover to normal situation during the swing brake, do not to blindly rotate the rotary reducer to the second screw hole position, right to find the solution to it.
- According to the gear transmission characteristics between the pinion and the large gear of the rotating structure, the flank clearance should be guaranteed to be medium value, especially the minimum flank clearance should be rational. The general requirement is: when the slewing reducer has rotated one or two bolt hole position and reaches the required swinging degree of the crane during the swing braking, it can continue to rotate 1/3~1/2 bolt hole positions to ensure that the deviation of tooth surface clearance is approximately 0.15~0.25mm. which is mean, the lubricating oil film of the gear is not damaged and the gear rotates well.
