The failure of slewing bearing should be dealt with from the following aspects
(1) Confirm the failure reason of the slewing bearing.
(2) Formulate a treatment plan according to the failure reasons. If it is a large bearing quality problem, it can be directly replaced by a new bearing of good quality; If it is a design and selection problem, you can consider changing the bearing model and parameters; If it belongs to the precision or stiffness of the connector, the large rotary bearing should be replaced after the stiffness or accuracy is corrected.
(3) The replacement of large bearing with rotary support is a very important work, which requires careful formulation of construction technology and installation of tooling to ensure the safety of the replacement process. We take the bucket turbine as an example, to choose no wind or low wind weather for operation. Use the jack to support the above part of the rotary, remove the large bearing from the side, and then load the new large bearing from the side. In the jacking process, there should be unified command, and make plans to deal with various possible problems, so as to avoid the occurrence of accidents and the failure of replacement.
