(1) When the rotary resistance increases, the motor will be overloaded and the rotary speed will be slower than normal. In severe cases, it can’t turn or even get stuck.
(2) Abnormal noises, such as “quack” or “hum”, occur during the turning.
(3) After opening the slewing support, it will be found that the raceway appears wear, pitting and other damage, roller will appear wear, breakage and other phenomena, some bearings will find raceway has a few cracks and other defects.
(4) By measuring with a ruler, it can be found that the total height dimension of severely worn bearings becomes smaller.
The problems of slewing bearing are mainly manifested in roller wear and raceway wear of the bearing, which eventually lead to bearing failure.
